ReclaimPelvic-floor academy for men over 40

Intimacy after 40 has a course now. Level one is a single squeeze.

You'd like to be sure of yourself with her again — wanted, relaxed, fully there when the two of you are alone. Reclaim is my course of short audio lessons on Kegels and pelvic-floor work, with breath, hips and core alongside. You pick a lesson by goal and by the minutes you have, press play, and tick the day off.

OC

I'm Owen. I built Reclaim at 46 because every routine I found was either a vague article or a lecture. I wanted levels, a streak and a chart I could read myself. So I made one.Owen Calder, founder and the voice in the lessons

What men over 40 tell me first

Straight from the messages in my inbox, in their words, not mine.

The spark with her runs lower

Less drive, less of the easy confidence that used to show up on its own. You miss being the guy who started things.

Up twice before dawn

Broken sleep from trips to the bathroom, then a groggy morning and a short fuse by dinner.

The gym and the job ask more

Lifts, long shifts, carrying the kid on your shoulders — strength and stamina that aren't what they were at 30.

Wanting to be fully present

For her, for the kids, for the work. Like yourself again, not a tired copy of yourself.

Six levels, unlocked one streak at a time

Each level opens after seven played days. Skipping ahead is not a thing — that's half the fun.

1

Find the muscle

Kegels lying flat, knees up. Slow squeeze, slow release, counted out loud.

3–6 min
2

Sit and repeat

The same reps in a desk chair, feet flat, so they fit a workday.

4–6 min
3

Stand up to it

Standing sets at the sink or in line at the store. Quick reps and long ones.

4–8 min
4

Bridge and squat

Glute bridges and a heels-down squat, with the pelvic squeeze timed to the movement.

6–10 min
5

Breath, hips, core

Breath ladders, a hip loosener and a core brace woven into the pelvic routine.

The course for two

Intimacy positions taught by comfort, closeness and tempo, plus how to bring it up with her.

Every pose the audio coach names

Filter by goal and by minutes, then press play. The guide shows the setup in plain steps; my voice counts the reps.

Flat, knees up

On your back, feet planted hip-width. The first place to find and squeeze the pelvic-floor muscle, then let it go fully.

Desk chair, feet flat

Sitting near the front of the seat, spine long. Slow reps between emails, nobody the wiser.

At the sink, brushing teeth

Standing, feet under hips, knees soft. Two minutes of brushing, two minutes of reps.

Glute bridge, slow lift

Lift the hips on a count of three, squeeze at the top for three, lower on three.

Heels-down squat

Sink low, heels on the floor, hands together in front. Breathe in the bottom, squeeze on the way up.

Between sets, from level five

Hip loosener

Slow circles and a kneeling stretch to open the hips before the pelvic work.

Breath ladder

Exhales that grow one count longer each round, paired with a gentle release of the pelvic floor.

Core brace

A low, quiet tightening around the middle, timed with the breath and the squeeze.

Your chart, your verdict

I don't tell you what's going on in your life. You log the minutes, the reps, the wake-ups if you like, and you read your own pattern.

Patterns, not pep talks

Which days you skip, which lessons you replay, what time of day you actually show up.

Small wins on the board

Streaks, level unlocks and a freeze for the day the kid gets sick. A wink, never a lecture.

Your call stays yours

After a few weeks, look at your numbers and decide whether to keep going. That's the whole design.

Level six, written for two

The part most courses skip. Here, intimacy is a module like any other: named plainly, taught with care, picked by comfort and tempo.

A couple in their forties, fully dressed in soft sweaters, sitting close on the edge of an unmade bed by a large window

The spoon

Both on your sides, her back to you. Easy on knees and hips, slow, lots of room to talk and laugh.

The cradle

You sit up against the headboard, she settles in facing you. Eye contact, arms around each other, unhurried.

Her lead

You lie back with a pillow under your knees; she sets the tempo. A lesson on letting the moment be hers.

The talk before the talk

A short audio on how to bring up the course with her, without making it a big announcement.

The unglamorous truth about level one

Honesty is the only proof I've got, so here it is, the boring parts included.

Your first seven days, realistically

  • Days 1–2: six minutes lying down, trying to find the right muscle. Many men aren't sure they found it. That's normal.
  • Days 3–4: the same lesson again, and a breath ladder. Repetitive on purpose. Mildly dull.
  • Day 5 or so: a skipped day is likely. Spend your streak freeze and move on.
  • Day 7: your first chart. Mostly empty bars. Level two unlocks if you played seven days.

Not for you if

  • You're after a medical treatment, a pill or a diagnosis. Reclaim is exercise audio, and a doctor is the right person for health concerns.
  • You'd like explicit material. The course for two is adult and frank, never graphic.
  • You need a trainer on camera. It's my voice, a written guide and your own log. No live sessions.
  • You expect it to promise you something. It doesn't. It gives you lessons to play and numbers to read.

Lessons that fit between stops

The shortest ones last three minutes. Earbuds in, eyes open, nobody notices a thing.

A breath ladder lasts about one bus ride. Plenty of partners play it too.

Morning walks are prime time for the standing lessons — and for listening to the course for two first, if she's the curious one.

Fourteen days to change your mind

Play the lessons, open the chart, see if the whole thing suits you. If it doesn't, email me within 14 days of paying and I send the full amount back. No form to fill, no reason required.

Your streak counter is at zero

Three runs, same course, same six levels. Longer runs cost less per day.

Before your first streak

How long is a lesson, really?

Between 3 and 12 minutes. Every lesson is tagged by length and goal, so on a packed day you filter for 3 minutes and still keep the streak alive.

Does my partner see anything?

No. Your log, your chart and your streak stay on your account. The course for two is there if you choose to share it with her.

Can I stop the subscription easily?

Yes. In the app, go to Profile, then Subscription, and turn off renewal. You can also email me and I'll do it for you.
